I have extensive experience working with individuals and families impacted by dementia and cancer. I work idividuals and family caregivers facing chronic illness, advance care planning, death/dying and bereavement. I also work with new moms coping with postpartum depression and anxiety. I am EMDR certified, which is a highly effective therapeutic intervention to facilitate healing from trauma. anxiety, disordered eating or impulsive behaviors. I work with young adults on issues of independence, self esteem and goal setting.

Since developing a private counseling practice in 2012, I have worked with individuals, couples and families to enhance their ability to cope with life stressors. I use a variety of theoretical frameworks with my clients including solution focused, cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing and person centered techniques.
